been working on new jewelry:
fiber cuffs
using hand dyed yarn embellished with glass beads.
others have hand dyed ribbons.
my painting today was inspired by the latest cuff:
esprit de corps:
the yarn is so beautiful.
simple patterns show off an exquisite color palette.
don’t miss the fabulous
pewter buttons
to
embellish!

highly recommended for the garden:
orange peppermint
ginger peppermint
and, of course,
chocolate peppermint.
to keep the plants from totally taking over:
plant newbies in a larger pot before placing in the garden.
one, or all, delicious!

a recycled interpretation
the world we live in: why does technology frequently seem hostile?

stargazing provided the
inspiration
for this watercolor.
thinking outside the box:
lateral thinking.
to get a different perspective on a problem,
for example,
try shuffling around the
essential facts and
recombining them in a different way.
the solution may come via
totally
illogical
means.
thoroughly describes the creative process for me.
so why not apply this to other areas?
connect the dots even if at first the process appears
entirely
(exactly!)
random.

creating the space between each breath.
