this series of photos imbues me with a sense of “light-headedness.”
I felt so when I took them.
even
now
looking
at
them
a sensation of whirling off center pervades.
september’s shadows…….

then,
there
is
the
soft
grounding
of
warm
autumn
color.
greeting
one
as
an
invitation
to
slow
down.
to remember to breathe.

another achromatic study,
before the color rush of Fall’s cacophony.
well, almost achromatic as a bit of color did sneak in.
love the texture of peeling paint.

so many edges, intersecting.
the linear,
the uninterrupted,
the attenuated.

clear:
- clear headed
- crystal clear
- clear-cut
- transparent
- cloudless
- translucent
- knowable
- lucent
- perceptable
- obvious
- spelled out

more shadow play.
they’re getting longer and darker.
we could smell Fall weeks ago.

seems as though the post for friday has gone
the
route
of
B&W
tho’ we know there really is only the clear grey of inbetween.
